ART AND ORDER
Useful Order
R. Arnheim First of all, in many cases, senses perceive the order. The Observer notice in forms,
colors and sounds in front of which an organized structure is found. But it's hard, or even
impossible to find examples in which direct perception limits object order or events. Rather, the
perceivable order point it out and include it as a reflex of an order that subtends it, physical, social
or cognitive ones.
Arte Contradd…It's clear that Senses explain in a direct way Order. Therefore physical component,
initially neurological one , then sensitive one, work reading order as a first cognitive impulse.
In a perceived field, Order has been understood as rational impulse. If in a involvement of a
sensitive one, in which sense's task report to understand an order aspect, it find in a perceive sight,
a reference in which order is cached. Through this kind of structure, perception became a way a
probe that search order, trying to involve all sensitive aspects.
R. Arnheim…As outside order often represents the inside or functional ones, the ordered forms do
not has to be valuated separating it to his relation to his significance organization that it represents.
Form can be ordered or even lead astray when it structure doesn't correspond to order which it
represent.
When correspondence between inner order and outside order is lacking, is generated a contrast, that
means a disorder element.
Arte Contradd…This point is very important because it's linked to my studies about Human's
behavior. In a pictorial relation between forms, two formal typology that individuate two
dimensions in which Sensitive became Visible (see photography), show a communication need
important to find bigger potentiality even in a different way so in different form. I think a focal
point to obtain a synergy mostly depend of a potential skill that blend two different forms: the
Movement. In this case the point in which Arnheim precises the possibility to discover a disordered
element, to a clash between two types of order, as the inner one and the outsider one, that allow to
individuate a parity trough reflective way in a Knowdlege of a Inner Human Reality. It's an another
confirm to my visual think based on a “Formal valuation”.
R. Arnheim, ..Besides, order is a necessary condition to allow structure work. It's a a physic
mechanism, like workers team, a animals' body or engine one, he can't work without a physical
order. Mecanism must be organized to concord different forces they made it.
R. Arnheim...Order is the essential requirement to survival; hence doing ordered dispositions is a
inbred evolution force.
R. Arnheim...Human mind is also pervade of a ordered impulse that mostly find application to
practise reasons.
Arte Contradd…Starting to this point I 'll try to enrich this argument. As I 've told at the beginning,
I think order is a natural impulse in which Human organism find a self- defense phase.
In Order, Arnhheim indicate a new condition of surviving. I'll try now to compare this two
elements: Self-defense and Surviving. They are two aspects to indicate a mental act for which order
became an essential point to Human Existence. I think through “Original Imput” emerge a natural
and primordial instinct to translate what reality present through mind. Thanks to mind development,
nature have present a potentially force helpful to survive and affirm our continuity. So I'll affirm
that in “Original Input” we can find origins of this mental process. In a Vision we can find origins
of all. So, Visual Act is its possible cause. And what better Visual and Mind's Original Impulse
represent if not through Perceive Act?
So Perceive Impulse and therefore Visual Mechanism, became a potential push that help to
individuate Skill in Order language, helping mind to analyze and elaborate reality. So, I can say that
Original Input appear to imagines, or better, to a Perceptions. Cognition have more potentially to
“Order” Language Interpretative request.
